RDC Development has partnered with Infinite Horizons to bring comprehensive repairs, new property management, and social services to Eastchester Gardens all while maintaining affordable rent and resident protections through NYCHA’s Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) program.

RDC Development is a professional partnership between MDG Design + Construction and Wavecrest Management that was formed specifically to address the challenge of repairing public housing for the long term. MDG and Wavecrest understand the key to effective affordable housing is more than the physical construction, but lays in the continued support and infrastructure that allows low-income residents to thrive. This includes timely responses to building issues, security, liaising with tenant associations, partnerships with social service providers to offer educational programs, events, and the holistic nurturing of community.

Infinite Horizons is a comprehensive real estate firm specializing in project management, construction management, property management, and more. Created in response to the housing concerns in New York City, Infinite Horizons strives to transform vacant and underutilized properties back into community assets with the goal of preserving, stabilizing, and increasing the affordable housing stock for all New Yorkers in need of quality housing options. Infinite Horizons is a certified New York State and City Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Real Estate Development firm.

OUR METHODS

A main differentiating factor of RDC and Infinite Horizon’s partnership is that we conduct major renovations with tenants in place, meaning tenants do not have to vacate their homes while improvements are being made. By conducting renovations in tiers, with each major room being completed in one day, residents can return to their own homes to sleep each night and very minimal disruption is made to their lives as possible while their apartments are transformed. It also eliminates the expense and complication of finding an affordable place for a family to stay during construction.
